We hope you'll join us as we celebrated the 55th Anniversary of the DeSoto County Fair! Attendees will take a first-hand look at Florida agriculture, business and education at its best.

We are especially proud of the role our young people play in Florida's future through the 4-H and FFA programs. These exhibitors work for months in order to have their animals ready for the Fair. A portion of their project requirements are keeping a record of the progress of their animal. This Project Book also serves as a great learning tool for them, not only in keeping the financial records, but in developing feeding programs and maintaining the medical records of their animal.

There will be many beautiful hand-made items, pictures and culinary exhibits in our Creative Living department, which will be located in the Exhibit Hall.

The Board of Directors and Members work extremely hard all year to make the 2008 Fair the greatest Fair ever. We hope you enjoy your visit with us.
